We’re doing our bit to get IE6 to 1% ... are you?
Wednesday, March 9, 2011 - 14:20
In february 2011 12% of the world was using Internet Explorer 6 which is 9% less than in February 2010.
IE6 is now 10 years old and Microsoft feel it’s time to say goodbye and in an attempt to reduce usage have set up the website www.ie6countdown.com
It’s aim is simple, to reduce usage of IE6 to less than 1% worldwide.
This will mean big things for web developers everywhere as they will be able to spend less time on development for supporting IE6 and more time on developing new and exciting products for their clients. So good news all round.
So why not do your bit like we have and tell your friends take a look at their website and see what you can do to help.
